It is with great sadness that the family of Iris Palmer announce her passing on Thursday, April 7th at Burnaby Hospital. Mom was predeceased by Dad, Gordon W. Palmer, and our brother George. She was the youngest of her family and will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Mary, Margaret (Doug), June (Bjarne), and brother Edward. She was a patient and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and is survived her children Laura, Leonard (Wanda), Gail (Edward), Gordon (Netty), Irene, Christopher, Sandra, and Albert (Terri), 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Salvation Army. A memorial service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home (3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, B.C.) on Saturday April 23, 2011 at 1pm
