Isidoro Ciolfitto passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, just one month shy of his 90th birthday. Though he will be deeply missed, there is comfort in knowing he is reunited with his caring wife, Carmina, and his beloved son, Fernando.
Born in Civitanova del Sannio, Italy, Isidoro immigrated to Canada in 1956. In Vancouver, he married the love of his life, Carmina, and together they built a close-knit family and a fulfilling life. Isidoro leaves behind his devoted children, his daughter Susie (Angelo Rizzuti), son Mike (Franca), and daughter-law, Teresa; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Danielle, Giordano (Natasha), Matteo, Giuliana, Luca, and Cristina. He is also remembered by his sisters, Cristina and Teresa, brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends, including Julie and Linda, whose support and care were greatly appreciated.
Throughout his life, Isidoro was known for his playful sense of humour, resourceful nature, and kindheartedness. He was an avid gardener, a generous neighbour, and a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers for over 50 years; paving the way for future generations. Isidoro will be remembered as a fun-loving, hard-working man dedicated to his family, friends, and community.
