Jakov was born in Cara, Korcula, Croatia. Survived by his loving wife Franka of 54 years, daughter Maria (Zarko) Perko, sons Peter (Cindy), Karlo (Linda) and Mark (Heidi), grandchildren Kiana, Karli, Jake, Mattias, Peter Jakob and Christian, brothers and sisters Marinko, Luka, Frana, Marica and Dubravka, many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21st at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3105 East 1st Avenue, Vancouver, B.C.
