James "Jim" Mateer Andrews

Jim is survived by his wife Kathy; children Iain, Heather, and Kelly (Mugdim); grandchildren Michael, Ajla and Arijana; brother Alex (Jo-Anne) and sister-in-law Barbara. He was predeceased by his parents Catherine and John, and his brothers John and Hugh.

Jim was born on July 19, 1949, in Vancouver, BC. He was the youngest of four boys.

Jim had a career that spanned 45 plus years working at the Vancouver Court House, with the majority of his time spent working at the Probate and Bankruptcy registry.

His leisure time was spent golfing, coaching a multitude of sports, cheering on the Vancouver Giants, and chasing his grandchildren. He was an avid Disney fan and enjoyed countless trips with his family. He was an active member at Mount Seymour United Church.

He will be greatly missed by all whom knew him.
