It is with great sadness and shock that we announce the sudden passing from heart complications of our beloved brother and Uncle Jim. Jim was predeceased by his loving Uncle Stan on August 4, 2003. Jim was survived by his sister Margret-Jean (Mar), his brother John (Kelly Ann) and nephews Rob and Chris. He is also survived by his brother Hugh (Karen) and nephews Andrew John and Stuart and niece Emily. Jim is also survived by his sister-in-law Carol and great-nieces Rachel and Robyn and great-nephew Ryan. Jim was born at St. Paul's hospital in Vancouver. He was deeply devoted to his Uncle Stan. And he was an excellent brother to his little sister Mar. He shared his gentle spirit through work as a care aide with Simon Fraser Community Living. Prayers will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 20th at the Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 E. Hastings St., Burnaby. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday Sept. 21st at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 555 Slocan St., Vancouver. Cremation. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers donations may be sent in Jim's name to VENTURE, 220 East 13th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. V5T 2K4.
