At age eighteen, she started to take flying lessons, and in December, 1952, she was awarded an International Pilot’s License in Hong Kong.
In 1949, Jennie attended Diocesan Girls’ School, she then moved to Brazil with her family in 1953. She was admitted to Chamberland Junior College in Boston, and graduated from Bryant College in Rhode Island in 1958 receiving the achievement award.
Jennie began her career as a financial advisor in 1958, and eventually established her own stock exchange brokerage company in 1969.
Jennie moved to Vancouver in 1993 with her mother and sister Molly’s family. She was found to have thymoma cancer in 2001 and led a relatively comfortable life after receiving surgery and treatments.
On March 28, Jennie was hospitalized with pneumonia, while her condition seemed to have improved, she passed away into God’s glory, peacefully in her sleep on April 10.
