

She is predeceased by her parents Jueliang and Yinqinyin Yang. She is survived by her daughter Tiffany; granddaughter Emma; siblings Te Ying (Ying Chang Tsang), Huiying (Dexin Jiang), Jack, Mimi (Pino Dalipe), Siao Ying (Taiping Yuan) and Stanley (Qiu Xiang Lin); nephews and nieces Te Ming, Kangnian, Fengnian, Li Chia, Li Chieh, Yong Xing, Ning Han and numerous extended family members.
She was born March 23 1948 in Taiwan. She began working at Taiwan Power Company in 1967 while simultaneously completing her university studies and graduated from National Chung Hsing University receiving a Bachelor of Law in 1971. In pursuit of adventure, in 1973, she embraced the opportunity to work on an academic cruise ship which allowed her to travel the seven seas while teaching students about Chinese culture & history and Taiwan. When she returned, she worked at the Mennonite Christian Hospital in 1977 until she decided to embark on a new adventure of immigrating to Vancouver, Canada in 1982. Always fostering her sense of curiosity and linguistic talents, she pursued different careers, becoming a certified court interpreter in 1991, a journalist for the Chinese World Journal Vancouver newspaper in 1993 and volunteering her time on several board committees and neighbourhood houses in Vancouver.
Known for her passionate, adventurous, tenacious and spirited personality, Jenny will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
