Jimmy Sun Ming Mah

May 12, 1920 - March 8, 2012; 91 years of age.

Jimmy Sun Ming (Shew Lum) Mah passed away suddenly

"With joy, into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ!"

at St. Paul's Hospital on Thursday, March 8th, 2012 at noon.

He was a dedicated accountant at Pacific Produce Ltd. for

more than 30 years, and enjoy his many weekly majong games

with friends and relatives at the local Hoy Yin Association,

and the Mah Society buildings in Vancouver's Chinatown.

He was loved by his wife, Chan Soy Man who predeceased him

in 1988 and by his children, Chack Dong (Brenda Hayden), Puey Ling

and Puey King (nee Soon), as well as his son-in-law, Soon Gee Wai,

and two granddaughters, Wai HIng and Wai Jun. He was a good provider,

and a good, kind, generous father, while at the same time extending

his generosity to friends, relatives, and always to those in need.

His funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Chapel,

at Royal Oak Ave. Burnaby, on Friday, March 16th, 2012 at 1:30pm,

with interment at graveside at 2:45pm. In Lieu of Flowers, please

donate to the church of your choice or to the BC Cancer Society.
