Mr. Jin Yang Park

Park, Jin Yang was born in Eumseong, South Korea in 1945 to Park, Jeim and Nam, Deukwoo. Unfortunately, he lost his mother at a young age but was raised with love by his father and step mother, Park, Hwa Young. He eventually immigrated to Edmonton in 1974 with his brother.

Park, Jin Yang owned a shop in Korea, where he met his wife, Kim, Jum Lan. They would marry in 1980 and soon welcomed their first daughter Sonia in 1981, followed by daughter Tina in 1982 and shortly by their third daughter Maria in 1984. Park, Jin Yang had an adoration for photography, nature and enjoyed dancing, playing baduk (Go) and golf.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 42 years, Park, Jum Lan; children, Sonia, Tina, Maria; son-in-laws, Calvin and Danny; grandchildren, Yuna, Nari, Lana, Greyson; as well as his sisters Sylvia, Lisa and extended family and friends.

Viewing from 7:30pm – 9:30pm: Friday, February 24 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby.

Funeral service will be held from 12:30pm – 2:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby.
