With great sadness we announce the passing of our dearest John after battling Parkinson's disease for many years. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Angeles; children Alexander and Karen (Kevin) as well as Lora (Keith) and Joanne (Rod) from a previous marriage; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers David (Lois) and Doug (Elaine). John was predeceased by his parents Anne Williams and Raymond Ford. John, a hardworking longshoreman for 40 years, loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer. John was a gentle, caring person and will be deeply missed by those who loved him. Funeral service will be held on February 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Ocean View Chapel, 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby.
