Mr. Ka Long Chow

With deep sadness, Ka Long Chow, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 4, 2026. Born on March 21, 1940, he was predeceased by his wife, Yuk Ling. He is lovingly survived by his daughters: Maggie, Peggy, Grace (Brian), and granddaughter, Kaitlyn.

He was a devoted husband and father who loved to travel and fixing things around the house with his own unique twist. Ka Long shared his love of food through his cooking and trying new cuisines. He especially enjoyed doing hands-on activities and crafts with his granddaughter.

Despite the onset of Alzheimer’s in his last few years, Ka Long did not lose his sense of humour and continued to share many laughs at family gatherings. He will be forever in our hearts.

The viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 4:30pm-6:30pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 20, 2026 from 10am-11am, followed by the urn internment at 11:30am.

After the service, lunch will be served at Golden Swan Restaurant at 5380 Victoria Drive, Vancouver. Please RSVP to Maggie or Peggy if you will be joining us for lunch.
