Mr. Ka Long Chow

With deep sadness, Ka Long Chow, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 4, 2026. Born on March 21, 1940, he was predeceased by his wife, Yuk Ling. He is lovingly survived by his daughters: Maggie, Peggy, Grace (Brian), and granddaughter, Kaitlyn.

He was a devoted husband and father who loved to travel and fixing things around the house with his own unique twist. Ka Long shared his love of food through his cooking and trying new cuisines. He especially enjoyed doing hands-on activities and crafts with his granddaughter.

Despite the onset of Alzheimer’s in his last few years, Ka Long did not lose his sense of humour and continued to share many laughs at family gatherings. He will be forever in our hearts.

We would like to thank the staff at Lakeview Care Home for their compassionate care of him.

The viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 4:30pm-6:30pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby. The funeral service will be on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 10am-11am, followed by the urn internment at 11:30am.

After the service, lunch will be served at Golden Swan Restaurant at 5380 Victoria Drive, Vancouver. Please RSVP to Maggie or Peggy if you will be joining us for lunch.

懷著沉重的心情, 我們親愛的丈夫, 夫親, 外祖父及兄弟, 周家朗, 於二0二六年三月四日, 在家人的陪伴下,安詳離世. 他生於一九四0年三月二一日. 他的妻子, 毓玲, 先于他去世, 他身後留下了女兒們, 敏平 (Maggie), 佩姬 (Peggy) 和詠恩 (Grace, 女婿- Brian) 及外孫女 (Kaitlyn).

周家朗是一個摯愛的丈夫, 父親及外祖父. 他熱愛旅遊, 喜歡修理家裡的東西.

他通過烹飪和嘗試新菜式來分享他對美食的熱愛. 他特別喜歡和外孫女一起做手工和其他活動.

雖然在他生命最後的幾年患上了阿爾茲海默病, 他依然保持著幽默感, 在家庭聚會上繼續給大家帶來歡笑.

他將永遠活在我們的心中.
