It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved Karen Anne Massie (Sullivan) passed away peacefully at her home on July 24th 2011, after a long battle with cancer. Karen is survived by her husband and best friend Tim, her siblings; brother Ray, sisters Shelley & Kim, as well as the Sullivan's who supported Karen through her many hard times. She will also be very sadly missed by her dear and closest friends whom she adored. At Karen's request there will be no funeral service. She requested instead, that a Celebration of Life take place at Burnaby Mountain in the Rose Garden on August 1, 2011 at 1:00 pm. This will take place on Karen and Tim’s anniversary at the location where they were married. For those who wish to share their stories about Karen, Tim would like you to join him at the North Burnaby Inn immediately after the ceremony.
