April 4, 1937 – May 4, 2013
With sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather on May 4, 2013. He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, Danae; his daughters, Kelly (Daryl), and Kerry (Don); grandchildren, Russell, Cherylynn, Jessie, Samantha and Rachel; and great-grandchildren, Lauren and Emma.
Ken worked for many years with BC Hydro in varied positions but his most memorable and favourite was being Dam Keeper at Alouette Lake – he was truly in his element there! Ken’s talents surpassed most- from a master carpenter, superior welder, skilled mechanic, avid craftsman, to an amazing artist- genuinely talented and all the while being emphatically modest about it all.
A Memorial Service and Tea will be held on Saturday May 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14644-72nd Avenue, Surrey. In lieu of flowers, a donation to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Crossroads Hospice in Port Moody in Ken’s name would be appreciated.
