October 6, 1931 – May 20, 2023
Our mother passed away May 20, 2023 at the age of 91. We are forever grateful for her showing us how to live a life working hard, being independent, and dedicating service to family.
She married Alan Chow in China then flew to Vancouver via Hawaii, Alaska, and Seattle in 1948. Pre-deceased by our dad, she was widowed at the age of 23. Together with our Chow grandparents, they raised us to be successful adults.
She was predeceased by her husband Alan Chow, parents, Bow Yip and Po Chun Jang, in-laws Cedric and You Ho Chow. She is survived by her children Lana (Doug), May (Al), Bob (Jana), Lillian (Michael), Pearl (Jaime), grandchildren Rob (Madison), Lisa (Michael), Erin (Peter), Kira, Michael, Alexander, Ellis, Arden (James), Katie (Mike), Christopher (Kim), Kevin, Great grandchildren Zava, Lev, Kenzi, Parker, Orion and Max and her brother Harry and his family.
We will not forget all the happy memories of growing up in our family.
Thank you Mom for all your hard work. We know that you are proud of us.
