Lai Kuen Lew passed away peacefully on June 23, 2018 in Vancouver, BC at the age of 84. Lai Kuen was born on June 24, 1934 in the Pang village in the Tai Sun region of Guang Dong province in China and immigrated to Canada in 1959. She was predeceased by her husband, Wah Chong. Lai Kuen will be remembered by her sons, Wallace (Tina) and Michael (Eliza), her daughters, Virginia (Brad) and Sandra (Paul), and her cherished grandchildren Michelle, Trevor, Matthew, Tracy, Andrew and Christopher. She will be missed by the many family and friends here in Canada, in the United States and in China. We are comforted knowing that she is now at peace, and reunited with her husband and her father. We love you, mom!
A memorial service will be held at the Forest Lawn Chapel on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Burnaby, BC.
