How I Remember Grandpa
Baseball hat,
button up shirt,
Always digging,
In garden dirt...
This is how I remember Grandpa.
Forever chatting,
on the phone
Calling around
to see who’s home
this is how I remember grandpa
Double One,
Is where he’d hang
With friends and family,
the whole gang
This is how I remember grandpa
Smiling at Grandma,
Holding her hand,
Kissing her cheek,
Telling her she's grand...
This is how I remember Grandpa.
His loving smile
Grinning ear to ear
Whenever we’d visit
His love was so clear
This is how I remember grandpa
We love you grandpa and we will always remember you ❤️
