Mrs. Lavinia Mellesmoen

Lavinia passed peacefully on March 27th, 2013 at Ridge Meadows Hospital at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband George and her youngest son, Johnny. Lovingly survived by her eldest son Patrick (Denise), Grace (Joe) Silva, Mary (Rob) Apps, Gordon (Delores) and Cathy (Stephane) Dumelie, Carmen (Ken) Vonpetzinger, Mark (Roxanne) Brown, 12 grandchildren: Jason, Shannon, Scott, Jamie, Jennifer, Katie, Kayla, Ryan, Shawn, Haley, Calvin and Chelsea, and 7 great-grandchildren: Beckham, Morgan, Maverick, Phoenix, Isaac, Keaton, Jaya, baby Strome on the way, her two dogs, big Bella and little Bella, and many relatives and friends. Prayers to take place Tuesday, April 2nd at 6:30 pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 22561 121st Avenue, Maple Ridge, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am Wednesday, April 3rd, also at St. Patrick's. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, in the section of 'Brookside' at 1:00 pm, followed by a reception at St. Theresa's Parish, 5146 Laurel Street, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the Canadian Diabetes Association, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, or the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
