We all miss you! You have set a role model for us to follow: your devotion to the family, your love and care for each of us, your wisdom in everyday chores, your preparation of all the delicious food, your adamant willpower to do exercise, and your courage to endure during illness…
We are comforted because you are now dwelling in the house of the Lord forever where there is no suffering and no tears.

六十四年同甘共苦的生活，在依依不捨下暫告一段落。

憶結婚初期，鄉下雙方父母，都力讚妳的勇氣、堅毅、和有主見，隻身來港與我共諧連理。五七年誕下長女，我初為人父，必須擔起家庭生活的責任，需到九龍土瓜灣工作，留下妳母女倆在荃灣，每次出門工作依依不捨的情形…至今仍歷歷在目。

其後添多了四名千金，妳辛勞將她們撫養成人，受到香港最高學府的教育，戴了四方帽子，參加畢業典禮，拍了照片，留下美好回憶。第三代眾孫子女，都受了妳的照顧和鼓勵，學業、事業都成材，貢獻社會。

妳病在醫院，每次探望妳的時候，妳總是說「早點回去休息，注意身體、飲食…」等語，使我心中無限感激！

因疫情擴散，政府呼籲逗留在家，在家時間長，想到妳的時候，好像又聽到妳說 : 注意身體健康、飲食…

Dear Po po,

How are you? Although we did not share a lot of memories, I still miss you. As we were separated geographically, I did not have many opportunities to spend time with you. However, every time i visit Canada, you prepare delicious food for our family and treat us the 3-flavoured ice-cream. Thank you for taking good care of us and I feel so honoured to be your grandchild. 

This is from the second daughter who would like to express her memory for her mom in Chinese.

妳一生傾倒妳的愛、精力和時間在家庭，和我們五個女兒身上，撫養我們成材。在艱難的日子，妳任勞任怨，用愛為我們遮擋了多少風雨。妳用堅定的態度專注去照顧家庭，心無旁鶩。

Our Dearest Po Po,

We miss you , our Dearest Grandma !  There is no word that can express our loss .

Thanks for your selfless devotion to the family, being a great wife to Grandpa; a great mother to Wai Ying and all the sisters; a great Grandma to all the grandsons and granddaughter; and also a great Great-Grandma to Hoi hoi and Mui Mui.   You have always been the perfect role model deep-rooted in our heart for us to follow and love.

Thanks once again in giving me my most precious wife, Wai Ying, and taking care  of Ka Chun, Ka Yiu and Ka Hin, all these years in HK and Vancouver.

Thank you for taking care of the family in your whole life.  You are such a wonderful woman!  It was so nice that Hoi Hoi and Mui Mui have met you in their lives.  You will always be in our hearts!

I thank God for how loving you are.  Your love and concern for the family have shaped us to be the loving members of our own families.  Though brave, capable and independent as you are, your love for grandpa and your loving submission to him has set the standard of the kind of lady I want as a wife, and I thank you for that.
  
Thank you for standing by me and being there for me when life hit me hard.  I can never forget your kind and gentle smile as you patted my shoulder in showing your support and confidence in me that midnight you caught me working very hard.  

I also remember our chat when I had to fly home for work back in August 2019.  You came by to apologise for having to go to bed without seeing me off for my midnight flight, and I encouraged you to keep clinging onto Jesus’s goodness and righteousness alone for your right standing with God, even though you have been a really great grandmother, and I thanked you for that.  You giggled and said, “I know it, gwaai gwaai (乖乖)”.  
   
While you have left us, you are ever so alive!  I know you are enjoying God’s perfect creation right now and that perfect relationship with God that we are made for.  Enjoy Him and the durian you are feasting on.  As promised, please save me some durian as we join you not too long from now.  Until then, we will strive to fight the good fight and rely on Jesus’s righteousness alone so that we will reach you.

I feel so fortunate to have such a great grandma.  You are wise and kind.  So encouraging and optimistic and strong.  I miss you so much.  I'll always remember many happy moments together. I have the knitted socks you've made and will continue to wear them.

縉樂從後越過我倆時，喀喀大笑著說:「婆婆真厲害! 從前陪我們行山，後來又常跟公公騎單車、打枱波，我要效法她同樣健康。」

此時，煦樂趕上來，恐防別人聽不到地大叫著說:「婆婆與公公相愛相親到白頭，多令人羨慕! 」話畢兩兄弟便吸口氣、低著頭、咬緊牙關追著去。

眼前浮起了哥哥幼小時患上腸胃炎入院期間, 小煦樂寄居在婆婆家裏給照顧得無微不至，心底不禁連聲感謝…

看著婆婆漸漸遠去的背影，日光在穿透了漸散的雲霧，灑落在婆婆身上，彷彿主耶穌的雙手正柔和地包著她的身軀，随風而去那不遠的天家。
