Leona Chaikovsky

Leona Chaikovsy of Richmond, B.C. passed away peacefully Sunday, February 27, 2011. Leona was was born in Ukraine and immigrated to Canada. She is predeceased by her husband Ihor Chaikovsky. She will be greatly missed by her three children Irene Laudan (Marvin), Roman Chaikovsky (Therese), Vera Bartolo (John) and her three grandchildren Ryan Laudan, Cody Laudan and Larissa Bartolo. She also leaves behind many family members and close friends. The family wishes to thank the caring, compassionate staff of St. Vincent Langara and all her caring friends and family that kept in touch and assisted her during her stay. Evening Prayers will be held at 7 pm Tuesday, March 8 th at The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 8700 Railway Avenue, Richmond, BC. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 am March 9th at The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 8700 Railway Avenue, Richmond, BC, followed by an Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, give your Mom a great big hug or a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC. & Yukon would be appreciated.
