Mr. Leonard Suey Lem Lee

Leonard Suey Lem Lee of Vancouver, BC passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep at home on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the age of 84 years. We will remember him for his sense of humour and always making people laugh, his kind, generous and easy going manner, a devoted family man and a willingness to help others.

Leonard was born in Barkerville, BC and was the middle child of a large family of 7 children. He attended Vancouver Technical Secondary School and was a computer operator for Chevron’s head office.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Violet of 59 years of marriage, his 3 children, Tracey, Sandi and Kelly (Darryl) as well as his 4 grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler, Alarii and Kieri.

He is survived by his siblings, Susie, Harold (Cynthia), Bobby (Sherri) and Betty; his cousins and many nieces and nephews and their children. Leonard was predeceased by his brothers Henry and Jimmy (Liz).

Honouring Leonard’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Leonard Lee’s memory to Diabetes Canada or Ronald McDonald House are appreciated.
