My dear sister Petsy,
I miss you dearly and the times we spent together. I always looked forward to your visits and treasure your love and compassion. You mean,t so much to me. You were always there when I needed you and you will always be held very close to my heart.

Grandma,
No matter how much I think about what I want to write, I am still struggling to find the words. I miss you so much and life without you will never be the same. You were truly amazing and your essence touched my life deeply. I am still shocked at your loss but I am so grateful for the time we had together. I love you now and always

Dear Aunt Petsy,
I will remember you always with fond memories. Our trips to Niagara Falls, the Butterfly Sanctuary and enjoying the flowers at Allan Gardens. Most special was the times we shared at home (in Toronto) talking over a cup of tea, or talking on the phone about a variety of subjects.  Talking with you was always welcome due to your wonderful nature and positive spirit. I will miss you dearly.

Rich and I always loved to see Aunt Petsy when we visited Dad in Vancouver. She always welcomed us with open arms and always made us feel that we were at home. We'll miss her. Amanda

Petsy,
Your kindness, caring, and intelligence will always be remembered.  
I cherish all the many times we were able to be together at your home in Burnaby, and here in Toronto. 
I was fortunate to enjoy a final visit in October, 2010.  Even at that difficult period, you remained a vibrant and caring hostess.  I recall out trips to Costco for french fries and sauerkraut, and Starbucks for your favorite coffee.  Your picture above, taken October 21, 2010, at Starbucks in Vancouver, demonstrates your positive, pleasant attitude even during your most difficult time.  
You have always been a favorite sister of mine, pleasant to be around and converse with, not to mention our cheerful and positive telephone conversations over the years.
You are greatly missed, and will remain a great role model for myself, family and friends.

Leslie (we called her "Petsy") was an absolute doll and a much loved sister. She would do anything for anyone. She was always giving, loving and generous and I never heard her say a bad word about anyone. She lived for her family, especially her grand-children and talked constantly about Lindsay's travels, Jessica's victories and the boys' exploits. She always had a smile and was always a pleasure to be with. She was a great support for her sister Diana. She made the world's best lemon merangue pie! She will be sadly missed by me and all who knew her. Her Brother Frank

Dear Petsy, 

It is painful to write, as it makes it a reality that I cannot phone you.  I struggled with attending your service, as I didn't want to believe that I couldn't physically see you. Your Missy, Rene, and Michelle and their families treasure you and you would be proud of the send off they had for you. You have a beautiful family, which is an amazing reflection of you. I made the right decision to attend. I struggled to be brave. For you. Petsy, thank you for being my sister - 15 months younger than me with so much flare, laughter, and with such a very positive outlook on everything.  Alexandra always enjoyed her special bond of sharing her birthday with you. You will never be forgotten and will always be missed.
