

Burnaby – Leslie H. Charbonneau, beloved grandmother, mother, and sister born March 31st, 1940 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, residing in Burnaby since 1973, passed away in Palliative Care of Burnaby General Hospital in the morning hours of December 6th, 2010.
Leslie was predeceased by her loving husband Roland George Charbonneau on December 16th, 1998, sister Doreen Wood in 2009, brothers Tommy in 2009 and Danny in 2003.
Forever young at heart, Leslie lived her life to the fullest, loved to cook, especially the big family dinners, and thrilled in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. She was always helping others,and fought for the underdog.
She is dearly missed by her daughter Marie, son-in-law James, grandchildren Lyndsey and Cameron of Merrit, B.C., son René of New Westminster, daughter Michelle, son-in-law Blaine, grandchildren Nickolas, Jessica and Evan of Port Moody, brothers Frank, Fred, sisters Sylvia, Madeline, Caroline and Dianna, sadly missed by many other family members and friends and her dog Amber.
Interment and memorial services are to be held on Monday December 13, 2010, Pastor Terry Janzen and Captain David Macpherson presiding respectively.
Graveside service to be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Burnaby B.C. At 11:00 am
Memorial service to be held at the Salvation Army Church
325 Sixth street, New Westminster,B.C. At 12:00pm.
