Lester was born in Montreal, Quebec, to Gerald and Lillian Furlong on January 17, 1936.
He was the youngest of 3 children; he had 2 sisters, Geraldine and Joan. He resided in Montreal the earlier years; he then made his way out West to BC.
Shortly after arriving to BC he met Gordon Lee, together they enjoyed life. Lester had a great sense of humour he was always smiling and laughing. He was involved in many groups within his community. His life partner of 46 years Gordon Lee, deceased 2 days after Lester.
His sister Joan (Furlong) Law, many nieces, nephews, and good friends survive Lester. He will be greatly missed by all.
At Lester’s request there will be no service. A huge thank you, to all the staff and Doctors at Carleton Gardens who cared for Lester in the last 4years.
