Lily was born October 8, 1928, in He Feng, Nan Hai (Shunde), China. She immigrated in her teens to South Africa. She married Lai Wing Chong in 1948. In 1976 she moved with her family to Vancouver, Canada.
Lily will be sadly missed by her loving children and spouses, Roy and daughter-in-law Polly, Sandra, Teddy and daughter-in-law Krystal, Linda and son-in-law Clifford; and her two grandchildren Quinton and Gillian.
Lily will be remembered by relatives and friends in Canada and abroad for her gracious friendship, and avid passion for mahjong, gardening, cooking, baking, knitting, and Cantonese opera.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm July 24. COVID precautions are in effect with attendance limited to 100 persons.
