Sadly, we announce the passing of Ljuban Gordic on Saturday, February 19, 2011. Born in Hrgud, Hercegovina, Republika Srpska on June 24, 1925. Predeceased by his wife, Radojka and daughter, Velenka; he leaves to mourn: his sister, Ljubica in Hercegovina, sons, Miladin (Jadranka), Mijodrag (Clara) and Vaso (Veselka), daughter, Milenka (Ranko) and his 16 grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 starting at 10:30 am at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church (7837 Canada Way, Burnaby) with Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park (3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby). Reception/deutch at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Church after the entombment. Ljuban will be greatly missed by his family and by those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
