Mr. Loreto Baruffa

He was born in Celano, Italy on November 22, 1930. He left Celano in 1956 to build a life in Canada but always spoke about his life in Italy with many happy memories. He will be missed by family and friends there, as he will be here in Canada.

He leaves behind his children Nadia (Michael), Corrado (Anna) and Paolo (Jennifer) as well as his grandchildren who he adored and loved so much, Christian, Julian, Olivia, Eva and Nevaeh. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Filomena. He is reunited in peace with her now, and with his family and friends who went before him.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church - 2025 Napier St. in Vancouver on Wednesday, January 14th at 10am. All friends and family are welcome. The entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Creekside Mausoleum- 3789 Royal Oak Ave. in Burnaby,

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone at the New Vista Care Home for looking after Loreto with exceptional care and compassion. The staff treated him with such kindness and dignity, which brought great comfort to our family.
