There are no words to express the sadness our family holds in our hearts, as we announce the passing of Luciano Burtini after a long battle with cancer.
Luciano is survived by his wife of 64 years, Leda, their two children, Lorraine and Dino (Maria), his grandchildren, Claudia (Bruno), Nadia, Cristina and Andrea, his sister, Miranda, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Dad's heart was the happiest sharing time with his family, with good food, lots of laughs and creating wonderful memories. He loved his grandchildren and was very proud of all four of his "bambine".
Dad's passion for the great outdoors was something he often shared with family and friends. Going fishing, camping and hunting always brought a smile to his face.
Even though he was in so much pain, and he struggled, he made sure he spent as much time as he could with his loved ones at home, right to the very end.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday July 5, 2022 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the chapel of Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings St. Burnaby
