Lucille Anne Moss

August 12, 1917 ' November 28, 2008 Passed away peacefully at aged 91, Lucille was a beloved, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and great-aunt. She was predeceased by her daughter Gerry (2000) and husband Cy (1976). Lucille leaves behind her sister Gertrude and brothers Vern and Don, children Peggy (Richard), Sharon, Michael, Toni (Tom), Susan (Kent), Steven (Jessie) and Sean (Gayle), 21 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Lucille was known for her love, respect and compassion for children. She instilled in others a warmth and quiet strength of spirit. After raising her 8 children, she went on to complete her early childhood education and ran from her home 'Mossy's' daycare until aged 72. Her smile lit up a room and will be missed by all. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude for the wonderful care she received at Fare Haven Care Home. A memorial mass will take place at St. Francis De Sales Church, 6610 Balmoral St., Burnaby, followed by a celebration of her life on December 5th at 1:00 PM.
