Lucio Pannozzo

1936 - 2022

Lucio passed away peacefully on March 12, 2022 at the age of 85 surrounded by his family. Lucio was born November 28,1936 in Campodimele, Latina, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1952, settling in Vancouver, BC.

Lucio was predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Crocefissa (2004) and brother in law Gerardo (2012). He will be dearly missed and is survived by his brother Paolo Pannozzo (Anna Maria), sister Emilia DiTrocchio; nieces, Mary (Rick), Lidia (Tommaso), Margarita (Tony), Anna (Brian); nephews, Giuseppe (Nancy), Americo (Anna), and by his loving friend Betty whose devoted friendship kept him going through his many health challenges.

Lucio loved his sports, in particular horse-racing, a true horse-racing fan at heart and could often be seen at his favourite neighbourhood Hastings Racecourse, mingling and spending time with his friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff members who provided compassion and great care to our beloved Lucio during his difficult time at George Derby Care Centre.

A private service will take place at Oceanview Funeral Home under Covid-19 protocols, with immediate family members.
