Maddalena Ricci

Maddalena Ricci, born December 4, 1932 in Civitanova Del Sannio, Isernia, Italy, passed away March 19, 2024 with her Children and family by her side. Maddalena is predeceased by her husband Domenico and her brothers Angelo (Joan), Pasquale (Elizabeth) and Vittorio Trentalance. Maddalena is survived by her son Dino, daughters Diana (Phil) Racanelli and Lucy (Maurizio) Montanari, her grandchildren Danielle (Christian), Marcus (Jackie), Stephen, Michelle (Frank), great grandchildren Domenico, Milea and Andreas, as well as many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Maddalena is also survived by her brothers Tony (Gina), Licio (Nancy), sister-in-laws Judith Trentalance, Argia Ricci in Canada and brother Michel (Silvana) in Civitanova Del Sannio, Italy. We would like to thank the nurses at BGH Palliative Care and Dr. Chapman and the nurses at St. Michael’s Hospice for the kindness and compassion shown to our mother.

Visitation for family and friends will be held April 2, 2024, 6:00 pm to 8:00pm at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC, Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers donations in Maddalena’s memory to the BC Cancer Foundation.
