Having worked closely and socialized for the past fifteen years with Peggy at the Community Centred College for the Retired, I as well as the entire College will miss her. She was a wonderful, dedicated woman who is going to be missed for a long time. May the McClean family find the strength they need to get through this sorrowful time and forever remember the wonderful mother/grandmother she was.

A group of rather silly ladies I'm sure that were organized by our dear Peg wrote a poem to me 35 years ago. I still keep that copy today.

And this poem to you we now do send
As you hop in your truck
"Good-bye and Good Luck"
We're sure you will start a new trend!"

Thank you Peg (and all the McCleans) for all the wonderful memories. Your joy for life lives in every one you've touched.

We're so sorry to hear of Peggy's passing. We especially will always remember her energy and her smile. She was a very inspiring little lady - managing (with Sean) to bring up an incredible brood of personalities and so proud of all of you. Our family feels very lucky to have met her.

Peggy your presence is and will be missed so very much, especially at bridge. However we know God and yourself had other plans - you"re probably polishing the stars up in heaven or looking after the books.

I will miss Peggy's little wave, big smile and our conversations. We had a lot of laughs and sometimes tears. I admired her. She had a busy schedule which I defy most people could not keep up with her.
Keep your happy memories they do help ease the pain. She was a beautiful and caring person.

Grandma, you were an amazing person who will be dearly missed. You have inspired us all with your resourcefulness, generosity, consistency, and wonderful no-nonsense attitude. I will always cherish my favourite summer in Vancouver living with you and sharing your reduced-fare bus pass!

We wish we could be there with everyone tonight and tomorrow to celebrate your life. All our love,
Erin, Blake, and your great-grandbaby
