Mrs. Margaret Zuk Sam Shiu

Born on April 29, 1925 in Vancouver, B.C., she was predeceased by her husband, Daniel, her parents; Charles Hew Lee and Shee Hum, and her brothers, Kim and Jone. She is survived by her children Julia (Paul), Martha (Ron) and Jonathan (Milly), sister-in-law Dorothy Shiu, brother-in-law Joshua Shiu, as well as many Shiu and Lee nieces and nephews, and their children.

Margaret enjoyed her work with the Inuvik Regional Hospital and Canada Post. She was an active volunteer in each of her home communities. Margaret was fortunate to enjoy traveling to many destinations with her late husband and other family members.

Working in her garden was very rewarding for Margaret. She grew lavender, raspberries and kiwis. Many enjoyable hours were spent with friends participating in the enriching activities offered by Century House in New Westminster.

The family would like to thank Gilbert Lee for the trusted guidance he provided to his Auntie Maggie.

Her Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Tues., April 29, Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, B.C. Interment will follow the Service. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to a charity of your choice.
