Mrs. Wilson was a mom we kids at Begbie School all knew. Catrina and Lisa's glamorous mom (just look at that photo!) who just doted on her beautiful daughters. She was always cheery and smiling (I was a little envious, to be honest!) My mom knew her as a singer; she must've been singing on that bus ride field trip that both moms volunteered for. I just know how proud she was of her girls and granddaughters.

When we turned 14 and Lisa had that sleepover.... Mrs. Wilson was so generous with all our pizza and munchies. And turned a blind eye when we stayed up way too late and made far too much noise. Seriously, that Nightmare on Elm Street movie was way too scary - but Mrs. Wilson was a cool mom who let us do what we wanted!

Lisa and Catrina, may you find comfort in your family and friends. I know the shock and grief of losing a mom. Every time you think of something sad, be sure to think of a happy memory. Over time, only the happy memories remain. May you share those always with your beautiful daughters.

Love you lots,
Nancy and family
