It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Oma and sister. Marie was predeceased by her husband Rudy in1983 and is survived by her devoted daughter Luise (Willy) grandchildren David(Paula), Richard(Briar) and great grandchildren Michael, Christina, Eric, Sophia, and Nathan, and sisters Augustine & Caroline.
Born in West Ukraine(now Poland) to Austrian parents and the oldest of six siblings. Hard work on the large farm was the motto. This motto served her well all her life as she gave 100% to everything she did. She was a beautiful, elegant and kind woman who loved her garden and could grow anything . Enjoying nature, especially the birds she always fed made her very happy. A memorial service will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial St. Burnaby at 1PM on Monday August 19th.
