Born October 18th, 1926 Sveti Marko, Lika, Croatia passed away peacefully on September 29th, 2010. Predeceased by her infant daughter Mare in 1953 and husband Mica in 1994. Survived by her loving family daughter Kata (Ante) Tomljenovic and son Jure (Katarina) Uremovic; grandchildren Kata (Stipe) Hecimovic, Tony (Juliana) Tomljenovic, Stipe and Mile Uremovic; great grandchildren Katiana, Niko and Maks, Ante; nephews, nieces and their families in Canada, Croatia and Argentina, and sisters-in-law Mitzi Basic, Lina Milkovic and Rosa Krekovic and families. Prayers will be held on Monday, October 4th, 2010 at 7.00 p.m. Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Church, 3105 East 1st Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 5th, 2010 at 10.00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial park.
