Mrs. Marion Hyde

September 6th, 1914 ~ October 30th, 2011

Marion passed away peacefully at Cartier House in Coquitlam, BC. She immigrated to Canada with her family from Liverpool, England at an early age. Marion married Fred on June 21st, 1937. They raised two children, Eric and Nadine. Marion was an honest, generous, compassionate wife, mother and grandmother. She loved animals, was a fabulous cook and an avid Canucks fan. She will be deeply missed by us all. Marion was predeceased by her husband Fred; her brothers, Les and Sid Davies; and her granddaughter, Melanie Anderson. Marion is survived by her son, Eric (Donna) Hyde; her daughter, Nadine (Joe) Andrews; her grandson, Jesse Hyde; granddaughters, Kristy Boudreau, Nicolle (Wayne) Saliken, Shannon (Kevin) Jones, Crystal (Stefan) Young and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Cartier House and also to Marion’s niece, Barb Uyesugi for all the help and time spent with mom. A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC on Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at 1:30 pm. (Meet at the Main Gates of Forest Lawn – Canada Way and Royal Oak Avenue – at 1:15 pm) A Reception will follow in the Tea Lounge of Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
