

Marshal Kao, born on June 27, 1971, passed away on May 25, 2011. He was a loving and caring husband, father, son, grandson, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew and friend. His death was sudden and accidental. He will be greatly missed by many. Marshal was known for his mischievous smile, his quick wit, great sense of humour, and was the life of the party. Marshal was a contractor by profession; he was intelligent, considerate, hardworking, generous, and made everyone feel welcome and accepted. He will be remembered with great admiration. Marshal will be missed by his beloved wife, Bonnie and his two cherished children, Jason and Savanna. Also, father, Frank Kao and wife Helen, and mother, Helen Antifaeff, his sister Angela and brother-in-law Glen Evans and their three children, Maya, Michael and Kiara, as well as his sister Kim Antifaeff and step-sisters Vivien, Stella, Tina and their families; also by aunt Betty Kao-Lin and uncle Will Lin, cousins Candice and Jonathan, and Jen; aunt Anne Kao Andrews and uncle Don Andrews and cousins Brett and Alexandra; uncle Raymond and aunt Lily Kao, cousins Reg and Jessie, Ken, and Lawrence; his in-laws Wally and Heather Faas; aunt Sharron Erickson and family; and many more relatives. Marshal was predeceased by Yeh and Po Kao, and Grandpa Bobier. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Willingdon Church, located at 4812 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, viewing at 10:00am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00am. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Burnaby Minor Sports groups in lieu of flowers.
