The family of Martti Vainionpaa regretfully informs you of his sudden passing on March 13, 2014, at the age of 80 years. He will always be remembered and deeply missed by his wife, Lea; his son, Jari (Robin); his daughter, Leena Miller (Ted); and his beloved grandchildren, Larissa, Heather, Steven, April and Amy. He is also survived by his sister, Marjatta (Sakari); his brother, Markku; his niece, Susan; and many other family members and friends in Canada and Finland. A Funeral Service for Martti will take place at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 6344 Sperling Avenue, Burnaby, BC, on Friday, March 21, 2014, at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Martti's name can be made to Emmaus Lutheran Church.
