Every single day I miss you every single day at some point I think of you not one has gone by where you have not crossed my mind or that I have not carried you in my heart or spoke your name. some people call it holding on. I just call it love and I don’t wanna let go. I don’t wanna forget I want to keep you close to my heart because you mean so much to me and your name deserves to be spoken like you deserve to be remembered I wish I could go back in time change so many things. I love you,  I know I love you forever and I miss you. I miss you all the time. Sometimes I imagine what it would be like if you walked in the room and this was all a bad dream. Oh how I wish this could be true. That would hold you so excited and never let you go. We miss you. I love you. I love you forever.

Hey Dad it's me. It's been a while... sorry about that. Things are changing for me personally. I think that you would be proud. I'm becoming the version of the person you thought I would have been without all the trauma. And man she's a lot like I hear that you were. I wish that we had had more time to get to know each other as adults. But my hope is that you're sitting up there with my mom and my  father in law and you're all proud that I've gotten to this place. I love you and think of you everytime the Sun shine's in my face.

2024 and 7 yrs have gone by. I’m still here loving you and wishing God had given us more time and that I could go back in time. Inwill never stop loving you, that I can promise you and until MY last breathe I will see you in my memories and carry you in my heart. 
Sometimes in life we don’t realize how special and how unique things are until it’s too late. We get comfortable in life and don’t appreciate the things that truly matter. Thank you for loving me, for taking care of us and for always being there.

I still can't find the words three years later. But I know you wouldn't want me dwelling on the past but know that you are missed.

What hurts me the very most is you not being here for my future. We can always change ourselves and grow, but a part of me is still stuck behind with you. I wanted you to see me get married, buy my first home, grow as an adult.  I had so much to still learn from you and Im in so much pain because now I actually want to learn and listen and you’re not around.

 It hurts me to think you were so willing to teach us and help us grow and I just wasn’t interested. I’m sorry I made you feel less than. I’m sorry I made you feel like you weren’t good enough, when you were beyond amazing. What hurts me even more is seeing how other people lived and were raised, you did an amazing job. Not a lot of people cared like you guys did even through the rough situations we still managed to make it out perfectly fine. 

I hope you’re okay and happy. I hope you’re resting and healthy. I love and miss you. 

2000 letters is not enough! I’m angry at myself. I wish I spent more time getting to know you instead of pushing you away. My mind races 50 times a day through everything you’ve ever done for me. Through everything you’ve ever taught me. Through the days we lived and worked together. I’m beyond grateful for everything I’ve learned from you, your understanding of good energy and good thoughts. I wish we all could just reverse and go back in time, science is proving this to be a possibility so maybe one day. One thing that bothers me is the world is changing so much and I know you would know exactly how to tackle it.  You would be telling me what I should avoid and what I should go after. I miss that. I miss your lectures

Here’s a few of my favourite memories

I can still hear you laughing at the tv
I can still remember you banging on the door because I was in the shower for too long
I remember you Trying to chase me while in your wheelchair
Bringing me my first puppy siboo 
Fixing my first car 
Teaching me how to drive your huge flat deck tow truck
I can see still see us at the zoo that time
I can still see you rigging the game machine so I could play a bunch of times at the club
I still remember working the cash register there and mom helping me learn how to use it
I remember you getting to buy your new Dodge Durango and on the way home I asked why the engine was so loud
I remember you buying me and Justin our first real mountain bikes
I remember you payin me $40 to make you and mom grilled sandwiches, and I wanted to open up a restaurant called kyles kitchen 
I still can hear the lectures. Those I will miss the most. The constant reminder of “you have it so good boy”.  “back when I was a boy”.  “onion and water soup” “I lived under a rock” talks which no one truly understands until it happens to you.

I thank you for changing our lives. I don’t know who I’d be without you. 
I wish you knew how much you mean to me and how much I miss you. 


I am at a loss for what to say, but I do know that I am broken inside and that I am not sure how to keep moving forward. You were my strength and now you are gone and now I am here having to face the world alone and my life feels so empty with you gone! How will this world every be the same Marvin. How will I find my way? I miss you more than I miss anything or anyone in this world. You were our rock and I miss you Marvin Yensen

Marvin, You always had our respect ...how you took care of the boys, especially the ones that were not tied to you by blood ... you were exceptional!!
The Boys are going to be good.  You were so solid in their lives, I know they are going to grow into Awesome Men!  Tara, is going to be fine, too. She a strong, hard working, loving, supportive Mom. She'll have a few BooHoo moments...but, that girl always amazes me, she's going to climb to the Stars ... You will be very proud of how she takes care of your family.  Thank You, Marvin, for all your caring support,  love and guidance for your family.  You will be missed terribly, but they are going to make You proud!  Until we meet, again  God's Grace.

Yesterday was very difficult with so many tears here at home. We miss you, we love you and we will cherish you forever.

Being here in this moment is surreal. There're no other words. You've been telling me for months that you didn't feel right and in hindsight I wonder if we could have done more.

The memories I have of you go back what feels like a life time ago. I will always be thankful for your efforts in supporting, assisting, and aiding my mom. I will always be thankful for the partnership you gave her in a time when she needed it most. I will always be thankful for the way you treated Dominick and Maddison. You were their papa and they adored you. 

I am Kashy baby because of you. That nickname will stick with me and I'll always remember who gave me it.  I will miss our long conversations (you could talk a long time lol), and I'll miss pretending I understood what you were showing me on my cars. You always took care of me because you wanted to ensure the kids and I were safe, you loved us and we; we loved you too. 

My heart aches for my brothers and it aches for my mother. I know In time they will begin the journey of healing and so will the rest of us, but boy will we miss your presence.

When you were here I knew that no matter what things would always be ok and now that you are gone I feel lost. I worry about our boys, I worry about them not sharing their feelings and keeping their pain in and I worry about how we move forward without you. I know that you would be here if you could. I know that you did not leave because you wanted to and I know that you loved us. We loved you too and will continue to love you forever. I asked the pastor if you would know me in heaven and he said yes and I take great comfort in knowing that because to think of us never seeing you again, never knowing you again would send me over the edge. I wish I could go back, I wish I could make things right and I thank you for telling me you loved me before you went to heaven. I will cherish that and our memories forever. Until we meet again know that I will love you forever and that I will do everything I can to make you proud of our boys and of my decisions and of who I am. Love you xoxox
