September 13, 1921 - January 14, 2012
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother after a short illness. Her family was by her side. Mary was born in Easington, England. She lived for many years in Powell River, B.C. and later in Coquitlam. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Gino. Mary is survived by her sons Jim (Denise), David (Tracey) and daughter Sandra (Bob) Smith, grandchildren Nicolle, Michael (Mandy) and Desiree Bortolussi, and Jordan (Amy) and Stephanie Smith. She will be missed by all. We would like to thank the wonderful nurses at Eagleridge Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of mom. Especially Josephine, Andrea, Patricia and Gordon. A memorial service will be held on Monday January 30th, 2012 at 1:00pm at Ocean View Funeral Home 4000 Imperial Street in Burnaby.
