Our hearts are filled with sorrow as we announce the sudden passing of a very special wife, mother and friend. Mary Elizabeth Jones passed away on July 31 in Delta Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Mel; her children and their partners Richard and Teresa and Barbara and Brian; brother-in-law Robert and many other loving family and friends.
Mom's greatest joy was family - she cherished being with her family - it didn't need to be a special occasion or an event - just being together meant the world to her. She resonated selflessness, compassion and kindness along with a good sense of humour. Mom passed peacefully which is a testament to how she lived her life.
We are especially grateful to all our friends and the residents of Glenwood Village Heights for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
