I too worked in Produce with Max.  He had a positive energy and was a very kind soul.  Like Carol, I remember the very generous luncheon he put on for us on his last day of work.  Amazing.  I'm very sorry for your loss.  He will be remembered fondly.

I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.  Our families were connected so many years ago and I have many warm memories of both of your parents.  They were both such wonderful people.  I hope the fond memories that all of these people on here are sharing will help to lift your hearts.

Max was a beautiful man with wonderful spirit. He was kind to the children I Nanny and the kids adored him. I have been his tenant for 9 years and he was the kindest landlord and human being you could ever meet! My prayers and love to his family.

I will never forget how Max and Jade made the Hunter's Dance at the the Slovenian Hall such a memorable event.  The hall was decorated so you really felt like you were in the forest.  And then there was the excitement of the prizes!  We had such good times.  I know how hard they worked to make the dances a success, and I know how much fun we all had.  Rest in peace Max, you were a big part of our heritage at the hall.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.  May your memories bring you comfort.

I worked with Max in Produce Warehouse for years.  Remember the day he retired he brought us a buffet meal for everyone in Produce Warehouse.  Very kind man. Sorry for your loss.
