Mr. Meredith Rowden

Mert was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and Meredith, and his step-father, Carl Senning, as well as his siblings, Mary and Edward.

He is survived by Anna, his wife of 70 years; their children James (Laura), Jo-Anna (David), Gayle, Gwynith and Ian (Cheryl); their grandchildren Jeannene, Candice (Matt), Misty (Dustin), Philip (Jessica), Steven (Amanda), Michael (Rose), Timothy, Trevor, John, Daniel, Christopher and Krystal; their great-grandchildren Elliot, Ashtyn, Meleana, Seth, Hayley, Carys, Cooper, Judah, Isaac, Leo, Tenley, Gugu, Juju, Lily, Charlie and Everly; and nieces and nephews in Western Canada, the Greater Boston area and New Zealand.

He had multiple careers, with the most memorable being his 25 years in the RCMP. He was an active square dancer for most of his adult life and happy to travel within BC, Alberta and Washington state with his family. He usually left international travel to Anna, but enjoyed several cruises and tours with the RCMP vets to SE Asia, Australia, the Maritimes and Alaska. He was active in his later years as a volunteer janitor, kitchen worker and handyman in his church.

A celebration of life will be held May 29, 2025 at 1:30 pm at Faith Fellowship Baptist Church in Vancouver.
