Michael was born on August 16, 1921 in Levac, Ontario. He later moved to Vancouver, B.C. at the age of 19, where he met and married Jenny Burma on January 11,1942.
Michael was a veteran from World War II with the rank of Private. Michael enjoyed prospecting and spending time with family.
Michael was a very kind and gentle soul; he had a loving and generous heart,and was always thinking of others.
He was predeceased by his children, Michael Gorval in 1983 and Judy Todesco in 1996.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Gorval; his grandchildren, Michael Gorval, Sherry Gorval, Daniel Gorval, Laura Gorval and Candace Todesco. Also his great grandchildren; Michael and Violet Gorval, Ava and Liam Verheul, and Paige Spears.
Services will be held Sunday January 11, 2015, at 1:00 in the afternoon at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue in Burnaby. A reception to follow at the family home.
