Michel Makhlouta, husband to Yuka Isogawa and brother to Roula Hartman, Tony Makhlouta and Richard Makhlouta, passed away on Wednesday, February 04, 2015 at Lion's Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. Following his wishes, he will be buried next to his mother Nadia Makhlouta in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Prior to his transfer to Ontario, a visitation will be held at the Bell & Burnaby Funeral Home at 4276 Hastings St., Burnaby, BC from 1pm to 3 pm on Saturday February 07, 2015. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Paul Sugar Palliative Support Foundation (http://www.paulsugarfoundation.com). Dr. Sugar provided attentive and compassionate care for Michel during his time at Lion's Gate Hospital. Or, as Michel frequently talked about, please take some time to drive a cancer patient in need to a treatment session. Alternatively, you may donate to a charity of your choice.
