It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Miro Rogic on February 14, 2025. He leaves behind his wife, Rose, his sons Robert (Angela) and Daniel (Martina) and his 3 grandchildren, Niko, Leo and Franka, who he adored. He also leaves behind his sister Danica (Kuzman) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends both in Canada and Croatia.
His greatest joy was to provide for his family and it showed through his hobbies – hunting, gardening and making his own wine. And his greatest love, besides his family, was soccer and his team, Hajduk Split.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Parish, 3105 E 1st Avenue, Vancouver, BC. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in Miro's memory can be made to the Burnaby Hospital Foundation, 3935 Kincaid Street, Burnaby, BC V5G 9Z9 or by visiting www.bhfoundation.ca
