February 18, 1917 – October 5, 2011
A kind and gentle soul left us at the age of 94. Now reunited with the love of her life, her husband of 60 years, Stanley. Modesta was predeceased by her sister Betty and brother Ramsey. She leaves behind her devoted and loving daughter Diane (Jerry), son Victor and her 4-legged friend, Dixie. She also leaves behind grandchildren Michelle (James) and Cheryl (Dereck), who will greatly miss their Nana. Her great-grandchildren Taylor, Jake, Kaiya and Tai will miss their “Gigi” dearly, who put a twinkle in her eyes. Visitation is on Monday, October 17 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm., with the service on Tuesday, October 18th at 1:00 pm., both of which will be held at Ocean View Chapel.
