For over two years, I would look forward to seeing Neda most Friday mornings when she would help us prepare lunch for the weekly seniors programming at Renfrew Park Community Centre. She would tell me and the other volunteers one of her many stories, warn us about eating mushrooms, and make sure that everyone got a healthy portion. But most of all, I will remember her laughs, her warmth, and dedication. I will miss you dearly.

We would like to express our sincerest condolences to all members of the family. Our history goes back to when my Grandmother lived in one of the apartments at the Medic household. I remember visiting Grandma in the summer and getting to know the Medic family who were always so kind to my Grandmother. Neda and my Mother, Elizabeth, remained good friends after my Grandmother’s passing. Mom loved going to Vancouver and spending time with Neda and the family. She always felt like she was part of their family and that is how she was always treated. My Mother passed away several years ago at the same age as Neda. We know Neda will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. You are all lucky, however, to have such a wonderful family and so many beautiful memories of your Mother to share.

Nažalost danas nas je napustila moja teta neka je bog otvori vrata u božje kraljestvo.Laka je zemlja i počivala u miru božjem. Milan Čavlov
Draga moja teta - tatina sestra .
Neka te dragi Bog odvede u Vječno Kraljevstvo . Počivala mi draga tetice u miru Božjem , eto u zemlji Canadi.🎚Emilija Jančevski

Mrs. Medic was an inspiration - she was incredibly tough, capable, and independent, and a wonderful role model. When I visited her in the Summer she mentioned that she was going to be 90 in January 2020. I made a note of it in my calendar, and told her I would call her to wish her a "Happy Birthday" - sadly, I will not get the opportunity to do so. Mrs. Medic loved cooking and baking, and would make me creme caramel as she knew it was one of my favourite desserts - I will miss that.
Good-bye, Mrs. Neda Stose Medic. You will be missed, for your creme caramel, and all the love you had for those around you.
