Nicholas Peter Udovicic

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Nick Udovicic, 46, on August 7, 2025, in Nelson, BC.

An entrepreneur and a man of many passions, Nick played professional hockey and served as a firefighter for nearly 20 years. Above all, he was a devoted father to his two daughters, Ava and Mia, and a loving husband to his wife, Lauren. They were the center of his world.

He also leaves behind his parents, Petar and Loretta; his sister, Marta; his brother, David; his uncles, Robert and Stipe, and their families; and all his cousins and extended family across Canada, Croatia, and the United States.

A funeral mass in celebration of Nick’s life will be held on September 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Parish with an interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
