Nicola DiStefano

Nicola (Nick) DiStefano passed away peacefully on Sept 20, 2011 at the age of 81 years. He is survived by his loving family, wife Gina, daughters Maria (Terry), Julie(John) and son Armand (Diane), grandchildren Sandra(Joe), Stephen, Christopher(Jaki), Eric, Matthew, Jessica and Melissa, and close cousins Ermando and Guido. As well as many relatives in Isola del Gran Sasso in Italy where Nick was born. A Special thank you to Drs Zypchen, Neville and the haematology unit, Winnie and staff at VGH, Harry, Jennifer, for getting the family through this difficult time. Endless thanks to those who give their time to donate blood that gave us more time with our husband, dad and nonno.

Viewing will be held on Monday September 26 from 6 ' 8 pm at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby BC. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday Sept 27th at 10:00 am at our Lady of Sorrows Parish 555 S. Slocan Street Vancouver BC. Entombment to follow at Ocean View cemetery, South Mausoleum North entrance.
