Mr. Noorali Hussein Noorani

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Noorali Hussein Samji Noorani on January 1, 2025 at the age of 87.

Noorali was a loving and devoted father, brother, son, relative and friend to so many. He was known for his immense patience, sense of humour and warmest of hearts.

He was the glue in so many people’s lives, devoted to his Ismaili community and ready to take up a game of table tennis or rummy-o at any moment. He cherished his daily walks with friends, bragging about his number of steps.

He leaves behind three devoted sons and their families Arif (Wesley), Moez (Jenni) and Karim (Shafina), three granddaughters Arya, Myra, and Rayna, and one brother (Akbar) and two sisters (Nasim and Shila).

He was compassionate and calm, holding a twinkle in his eye even when turbulent times surrounded him. He is so immensely loved, leaving an unfillable gap in our lives. We will honour him by carrying his spirit, patience and empathy forward.
